Meet Our Team

I’m Amanda Benetz. Since 2008, I’ve been an RN with experience in anything and everything maternal/child related. I have a passion to serve and have discovered a love of teaching new parents as they find their way through their new role. Early in my nursing career I became a Breastfeeding Educator to better help new moms in the first few days post-delivery while in the hospital setting. I spent the last few years of my hospital career with frequent shifts working in NICU, enhancing my skills with a specialized focus. As my career evolved, I found myself in Houston, doing in-home lactation visits, leading support groups for parents as well as teaching educational classes for parents-to-be. In 2020 I obtained my Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) license and worked hard to be a trusted resource for Houston area moms.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and mother to 3 children. Not to mention the zoo animals we’ve acquired over the years. When I’m not helping families or raising my own, I’ve discovered a love of power tools and learning new crafts. My creative mind loves the outlet. While I never thought when I first starting nursing, that I would leave Labor and Delivery, I have found great satisfaction and fulfillment in what I do. I will always be your biggest cheerleader during your breastfeeding and parenting journey.
